BW Loyalty, Indian flagged LPG carrier owned by BW India, was transiting the Strait of Hormuz on late evening, Wednesday (July 1, 2026), as per marinetraffic.com. Loyalty was among the four Indian-flagged vessels that had applied for permission from both Iran and Oman to transit the strait, as per government sources. Loyalty is taking the northern (Iranian) route.
BW Loyalty was among the eight Indian flagged LPG carriers that were stranded in Persian Gulf when the war started. Since then seven of these ships have already come out.
Loyalty was in drydock in Dubai undergoing periodic maintenance and repairs. It has come out of drydock and is now carrying some 47,000 tonne of LPG, having loaded in Qatar.
