Sweden vs Tunisia LIVE, FIFA World Cup 2026: Yasin Ayari scores a long-ranger as Sweden gets an early goal

Posted on June 15, 2026 By admin

Sweden are playing their opening World Cup match against Tunisia in Monterrey on Sunday (June 14, 2026) but it has been a long and winding road to get here for the team and coach ‌Graham Potter. Sweden finished bottom of their qualifying group and needed a Nations League playoff lifeline to make it to the finals.

Sweden boast a formidable strike partnership in Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres, but the two will have their work cut out in their opening World Cup Group F game as they take on a Tunisia side that didn’t concede a goal in qualifying.

In the other Group F match, Japan drew 2-2 with the Netherlands.
