Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Jaspal Rana, one of India’s accomplished shooter who won Asian Games gold medal and renowned shooting coach.

Jaspal Rana, who recently underwent a medical procedure after falling ill during the Indian contingent’s return flight from Germany, passed away on Friday (June 12, 2026).

The Chief Minister said Jaspal Rana’s outstanding achievements at the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games, as well as his representation of India at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, brought immense pride to the nation.
