Delhi experienced a warm morning on Tuesday (June 9, 2026) as the minimum temperature settled at 29.2°C, 1.6 degrees above the season’s average.
Among other weather stations in the national capital, Palam recorded a minimum temperature of 28°C, 0.2 degrees below normal, while Lodhi Road registered 27.4°C, 0.4 degrees above normal.
The Ridge station recorded a minimum temperature of 28.3°C, 0.7 degrees above normal, and Ayanagar logged 28°C, 0.5 degrees above normal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather office has forecast a maximum temperature of around 43°C for the day. Strong surface winds are likely during daytime hours, it said.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 161 at 9 a.m. on Tuesday (JuneE 9, 2026), placing it in the moderate category.
According to the CPCB, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 “severe”.
