The fourth edition of Erevna, the national Undergraduate Health Sciences Research Conference, will be held at Kasturba Medical College’s Knowledge Block, Centre for Basic Sciences, Bejai, in Mangaluru from June 4-6.
Over 700 undergraduate medical students from 50 colleges across India have registered for the conference. The event will feature approximately 400 oral presentations. In addition, various student clubs of KMC, Mangaluru will conduct five interactive workshops, two competitive quizzes, research presentations, poster presentations, and clinical case discussions.
Special sessions will be hosted by industry experts from Laerdal, Elsevier, Karnataka Medical Council and UWorld providing valuable insights for participating students. The programme will include symposiums, masterclasses, and keynote lectures delivered by distinguished medical professionals.
The conference is dedicated to fostering research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration among undergraduate medical students, shaping future healthcare leaders, and enhancing academic excellence.
The fourth edition of the conference continues the tradition of providing a robust platform for young medical researchers to showcase their work, exchange ideas, and build valuable professional networks.
Organised by the Student Research Forum of KMC, Mangaluru, under the aegis of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), the conference will be inaugurated at 3 p.m. on June 4.
MLC Ivan D’souza, Laerdal Medical India Private Limited Managing Director Sanjeev Singh will be the guests. MAHE Vice-Chancellor Sharath Kumar Rao will preside over the event along with B. Unnikrishnan, Dean, KMC, Mangaluru, according to Abhishek Krishna, Assistant Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology, KMC, Mangaluru.
