Light to moderate rain with thundershowers likely at a few places in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts on June 1 and June 2.

According to the forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), heavy to moderate rain with thundershowers is likely to occur in one or two places in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on June 3 and 4. On these days, light to moderate rain with thundershowers is expected in few areas in Uttara Kannada district, the IMD said in a press release.

In a warning to fishermen, the Union Home Ministry’s Integrated Control Room for Emergency Response said squally winds gusting up to 55 kmph are likely over Lakshadweep and adjoining Maldives, and along and off the Kerala coast over the next four days.
