Forty-two persons were injured in a jallikattu at Viswakudi village in Perambalur district on Saturday.
A total of 602 bulls were released during the event, with 334 tamers participating. Forty-two persons were injured during the event, and six persons — three bull owners, two spectators and a tamer — were referred to the Perambalur GH and the remaining were treated as outpatients at the venue, said police sources.
