Unsafe structures

At the Periyar bus stand, steel barricades installed around the garden median have reportedly remained damaged for several months. The fallen structures pose a risk to pedestrians and bus passengers, with some reportedly sustaining injuries after coming into contact with them.

The damaged barricades appear to require proper refabrication and reinstallation. The authorities concerned should repair and reinstall them in accordance with prescribed safety standards to prevent accidents.
