Traffic restrictions around LB Stadium on Monday for state-level education programme

Posted on May 10, 2026 By admin

The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory on Sunday in view of a State-level programme being organised by the School Education Department at LB Stadium on Monday as part of the Education Special Week under Praja Palana.

The event is expected to draw large crowds, leading to heavy traffic congestion on roads surrounding the stadium between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Traffic police advised commuters to avoid the Ravindra Bharati to Nampally road stretch, Liberty to Abids road, areas surrounding Basheerbagh junction, the AR Petrol Pump to Nampally stretch and the BJR Statue to Abids stretch during the specified hours.

Congestion is expected particularly around Nampally, Abids, Basheerbagh and adjoining central city junctions as vehicular movement increases ahead of and after the programme.

The Hyderabad Traffic Police said its helpline number, 9010203626, will remain operational for traffic-related assistance between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday. Citizens can also report traffic issues through the official Hyderabad Traffic Police social media platforms.
