Ranji Trophy | The guys are looking forward to winningthis game as well, says Dogra

Posted on November 15, 2025 By admin

Jammu & Kashmir captain Paras Dogra is brimming with confidence following his team’s strong start to this season’s Ranji Trophy. Ahead of their crucial clash against Hyderabad on Sunday, Dogra spoke exclusively to the The Hindu, reflecting on the team’s impressive victory over Delhi, his own rich form with the bat, and the influence of head coach Ajay Sharma, whose experience and guidance have added a new dimension to the side.

“It was a great win against Delhi. The guys are confident and looking forward to winning this game as well. Everyone is very positive,” Dogra said, highlighting the mood in the camp. About his approach as both captain and a senior batter, Dogra added, “I try to keep it simple and take things day by day, giving my best each time. You have to take responsibility as a captain and also as a batter. I always try to put the team in a good position.”

Dogra praised head coach Ajay Sharma: “It’s good to have a coach like him. He shares his experience and the lessons he has learned over the years. He is very strict and keeps everyone on their toes, which is a good sign — it ensures we don’t relax and always give our best.
