Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the Economic Survey 2024-25 in the Parliament on Friday (January 31, 2025), providing an official assessment of the performance of the economy in the ongoing financial year, and listing out the challenges being faced by the nation.

The Economic Survey, prepared by a team led by Chief Economic Adviser V. Anantha Nageswaran and tabled in Parliament ahead of the Union Budget, provides the roadmap for reforms and growth.
