Woman, son found dead in house in Kannur

A woman and her son were found dead in their house at Nittaramba in the district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Nimala, 60, and her son Sumesh, 38, a KSEB employee in Idukki. The bodies were discovered after neighbours raised concerns over the house remaining locked for two days.

The police have registered a case under Section 194 of The Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and have started an investigation.
