Secretary of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) S. Satish Babu felicitated India cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy, at the ACA office here on Friday. Nitish Reddy reached the city after the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) which was held recently in Australia.

Nitish was lauded for his performances, which also included his maiden ton at Melbourne Cricket Stadium (MCG). Mr. Satish Babu hoped that the Visakhapatnam cricketer may be picked up and succeed in the coming England tour of India and then the Champions Trophy. Mr. Satish Babu said that the ACA would extend support to Nitish.

Nitish reached the city on January 9th (Thursday) night, where he was accorded a rousing reception by his family members at the airport. Amid sounds of ‘dhol’, fans showered flower petals on him. A number of locals from Tunglam, his native place, PM Palem and cricket fans were among those who received him. Bheemunipatnam MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao also congratulated Nitish Kumar Reddy.
