As mark of respect for Manmohan Singh, Mauritius flag to be flown half-mast till sunset on December 28

As a mark of respect for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Mauritius has annuonced that it’s natonal flag will fly at half-mast at all his state institution still the sunset on Saturday, December 28, 2024.

“Following the passing way of Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of Republic of India, the public is hereby informed that Mauritius flag will be flown at half-mast on all government buildings until sunset on Saturday, December 28, 2024, the day of his funeral”, a release from the Prime Minister’s Office from Port Louis said.

It also appealed to the private sector for all the flags to fly half-mast on Saturday.

The former Prime Minister was cremated with full State honours at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi’s Kashmere Gate in the presence of his family, friends, colleagues and government dignitaries.
