Girl student sexually assaulted by school staff at Paderu

Girl student sexually assaulted by school staff at Paderu

Posted on December 8, 2024 By admin

A student from a government school in Paderu was allegedly sexually assaulted by a school employee at Alluri Sitharama Raju district. The incident reportedly occurred on December 5, but came to light after the local police registered a POCSO case against the lab employee named Anooj Singh Patel from Uttar Pradesh.

Deputy Director of Tribal Welfare department, ASR district, L. Rajani in a statement on Saturday, said that they had issued a show-cause notice to the Principal of the school.

S Hymavathi from Girijana Mahila Sangham, ASR district, demanded strict action against the management, alleging that the school authorities had tried to hide the matter. She also demanded to employ female staff in the schools instead of male.
