Actor Urvashi Rautela Faces Awkward ‘Marriage’ Question On Rishabh Pant. Says This

Posted on May 4, 2024 By admin

On Friday, a video went viral on social media when Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela could be seen being asked tricky questions regarding India cricket team star Rishabh Pant and Pakistan bowler Naseem Shah. The queries ranged from marriage to talking about crush. The actor looked quite awkward while answering the questions and gave very short replies. Last year, when Pant suffered a horrific acident, Rautela had called him ‘India’s pride’ and wished speedy recovery.

In the viral video, the conversation went as follows.

“There is a comment, ‘Rishabh Pant respects you a lot. It will me us happy, if you marry him'”, the anchor asked.

“No comments,” replied the actor.

Then, she was asked about choosing a hashtag for Pakistan bowler Naseem Shah. Urvashi replied: “#Bowler”.

The anchor then said that the bowler is quite popular in India and Pakistan because of his good looks. To which Urvashi Rautela replied: “As long as you are doing the job, it’s fine.”

The anchor further said that he has become quite a ‘crush’ among girls. To which, the actor just smiled and said: “Yes.”

Rishabh Pant was recently selected for the T20 World Cup. While he is the No. 1 choice for wicketkeeper, Sanju Samson has been picked as the second wicketkeeper. BCCI chief selector Ajit Agarkar on Thursday said KL Rahul missed out on a spot in India’s squad because they were looking for “guys” who can bat in the middle, paving the way for Sanju Samson’s inclusion as the team’s second wicketkeeper.

“KL’s a terrific player. The thing is we were looking for is guys who bat at the middle and at the moment KL is batting at the top. We feel Sanju (Samson) has the ability to come down the order if need be. Rishabh (Pant) is batting at No 5, that was more the thinking.

“It was not whether KL was better or these guys were better. It was about the slots that we needed (to fill) and we felt that these two are better equipped at this point or have spent time towards the latter part of the innings which might be needed in the World Cup,” Agarkar said.

India squad for T20 World Cup: Rohit Sharma (c), Hardik Pandya (vc), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (wk), Sanju Samson (wk), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd. Siraj

Reserves: Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.
