The conduct of the 6th World Telugu Writers’ Conference in Vijayawada is a matter of pride for all Telugu-speaking people, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has said.

In a post on X, Mr. Naidu, referring to the conference held on December 28 (Saturday), said, “Naming the venue of the conference, which strives to preserve Telugu language, after freedom fighter Potti Sriramulu is apt and reminds one of the sacrifice he made for the formation of a separate Telugu State.”

“Naming the main venue after Ramoji Rao, who had contributed a lot to the development of Telugu language, is laudable,” Mr. Naidu said, extending his gratitude to all the delegates participating in the conference.
