Delhi Capitals vs Lucknow Super Giants, IPL 2024: Players To Watch Out For

Match 64 of the Indian Premier League, 2024, is set to unfold between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants (DC vs LSG) at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, scheduled for Tuesday. With Delhi Capitals having contested 13 matches, they occupy the sixth position on the points table, tallying 12 points. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants, after playing 12 matches, find themselves in the seventh spot, also with 12 points to their credit. In their recent encounters, Delhi Capitals faced a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore by a margin of 47 runs.

Notably, Axar Patel emerged as the standout performer for Delhi, accumulating 98 fantasy points.

Conversely, Lucknow Super Giants suffered a setback in their last match against SunRisers Hyderabad. Ayush Badoni showcased an impressive performance, accruing 82 fantasy points for Lucknow.

A top-order, right-handed batter and wicket-keeper, KL Rahul has been a consistent performer. With 460 runs in 12 matches, the Lucknow Super Giants’ skipper boasts an average of 38.3 per match.

2. Rishabh Pant:

Rishabh Pant, a wicket-keeper and top-order, left-handed batter, has been a reliable asset for Delhi Capitals. In 12 matches, he has amassed 413 runs at an average of 41.3 per match.

3. Axar Patel:

Axar Patel presents a versatile option for Delhi Capitals. He has contributed significantly with both bat and ball as a left-handed batter and slow left-arm orthodox bowler. Having scored 221 runs in 11 matches, he holds an average of 27.6 per match. Additionally, he has claimed 10 wickets at an average of 31.7 per match in recent outings.

4. Marcus Stoinis:

Marcus Stoinis offers stability to Lucknow Super Giants with his all-round abilities. A top-order, right-handed batter and right-arm medium bowler, Stoinis has accumulated 355 runs in 12 matches at an average of 35.5 per match. Furthermore, he has picked up four wickets with an average of 31.5 per match in recent appearances.

5. Kuldeep Yadav:

Kuldeep Yadav, a slow left-arm chinaman bowler, has been a valuable addition to Delhi Capitals, picking up crucial wickets when needed. With 15 wickets in 10 matches, he holds an average of 22.7.

6. Yash Thakur:

Yash Dayal, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, could be a strategic pick as he is the leading wicket-taker for Lucknow Super Giants. Having secured 11 wickets in 10 matches, he holds an average of 36.5.
