The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL) inaugurated two Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) laboratories sponsored by it in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts on Thursday.
While Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary inaugurated the laboratory at Government Higher Primary School in Januvarukatte at Billadi in Brahmavara taluk in the presence of KRCL regional railway manager Asha Shetty and others, Ms. Shetty inaugurated the one at DK ZP Model Higher Primary School in Surathkal.
The labs are equipped with educatinal kits, robotics tools, scientific models, electronic components and interactive learning material to provide hands-on experience to students, said a communique from KRCL.
