Overspeeding kills 2 youths in Vizag’s Bheemunipatnam

Posted on October 11, 2026 By admin

Two youths from Allipuram died in a road accident at Nagarampalem Junction in Mangamaripeta, under the Bheemunipatnam police station limits in Visakhapatnam on Sunday (October 11, 2026).

According to Bheemunipatnam police station Inspector G. Diwakar, the deceased identified as V. Akhil (20) and P. Dhanunjaya (20) had gone to Mangamaripeta to play cricket. The two were travelling on a motorcycle to fetch drinking water when their vehicle allegedly hit a road divider. The police suspect overspeeding could have been reason for the accident.

Akhil, who was driving the bike, died on the spot, while Dhanunjaya was declared brought dead at King George Hospital, the Inspector said.

The Bheemunipatnam police have registered a case. The bodies were shifted for postmortem.
