Traffic restrictions on Basava Nagar Main Road from October 10

Vehicles restricted towards Vignan Nagar/Kaggadasapura are as follows: Heavy goods vehicles, BMTC buses, school buses and light goods vehicles travelling from Marathahalli, HAL, Vibhutipura and Basava Nagar towards Vignan Nagar, Kaggadasapura, Malleshpalya and BEML will not be allowed on the route.

The vehicular movement on Basava Nagar Main Road in the HAL Airport Traffic Police limits will be restricted for 20 days from October 10 due to the construction of a stormwater drain bridge at Vibhutipura lake by the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).

The restrictions have been imposed to facilitate the construction work and ensure smooth movement of traffic.

Vehicles restricted towards Vignan Nagar/Kaggadasapura are as follows: Heavy goods vehicles, BMTC buses, school buses and light goods vehicles travelling from Marathahalli, HAL, Vibhutipura and Basava Nagar towards Vignan Nagar, Kaggadasapura, Malleshpalya and BEML will not be allowed on the route.

Similarly, all types of vehicles travelling from Vignan Nagar, Kaggadasapura, Malleshpalya and BEML towards Vibhutipura, Basava Nagar, HAL and Marathahalli will face restrictions. Motorists have been advised to follow the diversion routes and cooperate with the traffic police during the construction period.
