India’s top natural gas importer Petronet LNG’s standalone revenues in the June-end quarter declined more than 52% as the conflict in West Asia continued to mar supplies during the reported period.

Before the crisis broke out in West Asia, approximately forty-seven percent of India’s LNG imports came from Qatar.

The company’s revenues declined 52.3% from the comparable period last year to ₹5,788 crore.

However, net profit surged about 33.2% to ₹1,132 crore in the reported period.
