The Anna Nagar police arrested two more persons in connection with the death of 23-year-old S. Akash, who fell from the fourth floor of a travel company in Anna Nagar on Saturday. The police had earlier arrested Sugumar, the owner of the travel company.
The city police said Akash, who was working as an accountant for the private travel agency in Anna Nagar, fell from the balcony of its fourth floor after he was physically assaulted by three persons, including Sugumar, with regard to the alleged misappropriation of ₹40 lakh from the company’s funds.
As part of this case, the Anna Nagar police had been searching for the two accused, D. Senthilkumar and B. Dilieepkumar, who were advocates of the Madras High Court.
Both the accused were produced before a judicial magistrate and sent to prison on Wednesday.
