Toll charges on the Bengaluru-Nelamangala stretch of NH-48 and the Bengaluru-Kolar section of NH-75 have gone up from Wednesday, following the National Highways Authority of India’s (NHAI) revision of user fee rates for the financial year 2026-27.

According to separate public notices issued by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Bengaluru, the revised toll rates will be applicable at the Bengaluru-Nelamangala toll plazas on NH-48 and the Hedaginabele, Agrahara, Krishnarajapura and Sundarapalya toll plazas on the Bengaluru-Bethamangala section of NH-75.

On the Bengaluru-Nelamangala access-controlled highway, the toll is collected at six locations. For cars, jeeps, vans and light motor vehicles, the single journey toll ranges from ₹10 to ₹35, depending on the toll plaza. The highest charge of ₹35 is applicable at TP-1, while TP-2 has the lowest charge of ₹10. Return journey and monthly pass charges have also been revised across all categories of vehicles.

Meanwhile, on the Bengaluru-Kolar highway, revised toll rates have been notified for four toll plazas. For cars and other light motor vehicles, the single journey fee is ₹50 at Hedaginabele and Agrahara, ₹120 at Krishnarajapura and ₹150 at Sundarapalya. Users travelling across multiple toll plazas will pay cumulative toll based on the distance covered.

The revised tariff also applies to commercial vehicles, buses, trucks and multi-axle vehicles, with corresponding increases in return journey and monthly pass charges. The annual pass for eligible vehicles has been fixed at ₹3,075 for 2026-27.

The NHAI stated that the revised user fee has been notified under the provisions of the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008, as amended, and is based on the annual revision mechanism prescribed under the rules. The revised rates came into effect from 00:00 hours on July 22, 2026, according to notification.
