Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flyadeal on Monday commenced its India operations with the launch of a daily non-stop service between Hyderabad and Riyadh, making Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA)here its first destination in the country.

The airline will operate daily on the Hyderabad-Riyadh route using Airbus A320 aircraft. The Hyderabad-bound flight departs Riyadh at 11.20 p.m. and arrives at 6.50 a.m. the following day while the return service leaves Hyderabad at 7.55 a.m. and reaches Riyadh at 11.05 a.m.

“This new connection to Riyadh is another addition as our airline partner and significantly enhances our Middle East network reflecting Hyderabad Airport’s growing importance as a global aviation hub. The addition of this service will not only strengthen links for the large Indian diaspora and business community but also boast new opportunities for tourism and trade between the two regions. As we continue to expand our network, we remain focused on building efficient, convenient, and inclusive travel experiences for our passengers,” said Kadhir Kadhirvan CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.

“Launching our inaugural service to Hyderabad marks a milestone for Flyadeal as we commence operations in India, one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-growing aviation markets. We are delighted to partner with Hyderabad airport to establish this direct daily connection between Riyadh and Hyderabad, further strengthening air links between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India” said Loyd Misquitta, Chief Commercial Officer (A), Flyadeal.
