District Collector S. Venkateswar on Friday (June 26, 2026) inspected the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process by accompanying the staff and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) at Tiruchanur in the Tirupati rural Mandal.

The Collector visited Sankar Naidu Colony in the locality and joined the officials who were interacting with the residents. He directed the staff to engage with the residents more efficiently to improve the registration percentage in the district and to distribute the enrolment forms without fail.

Mr. Venkateswar said that the voting pattern should be compared with the figures from 2002.

Later, at Auto Nagar in Tirupati Urban Mandal, he received complaints from the public on the drainage system and drinking water supply.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner Saradha Devi, Assistant Commissioner Amaraiah, Urban Tahsildar Suresh Babu accompanied him.
