629 AEE posts in A.P. power utilities; SPDCL applications open from June 30

Andhra Pradesh government has approved the recruitment of 629 Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) across its power utilities, AP-Genco (100), AP-Transco (200) and the three DISCOMs (134 in SPDCL, 135 in EPDCL and 60 in CPDCL). One backlog AEE post has also been notified for the southern DISCOM.

Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar stated in a press release that the recruitment drive was aimed at filling critical vacancies in engineering cadres and enhancing operational efficiency across power generation, transmission and distribution organisations.

The SPDCL would recruit 124 AEEs in the electrical wing and six and four in civil and telecom branches, for which applications have to be submitted from June 30 to July 27. CPDCL would recruit 56 AEEs in the electrical wing and three and one in civil and telecom branches.

The Genco would recruit 80 AEEs in electrical, mechanical and electronics branches and 20 in the civil engineering wing. Transco would recruit 167 AEEs in the electrical branch and 23 and 10 in civil and telecom wings. The EPDCL would recruit 128 AEEs in the electrical branch and four and three in civil and telecom wings.
