AI is a major technology disruptor: Annamalai

Posted on June 13, 2026 By admin

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a major technology disruptor and young graduates should embrace the latest technologies, said K. Annamalai, chief mentor of We the Leaders Foundation.

Speaking at the graduation of Park Institutions in Coimbatore on Saturday (June 13), he said that one of the covers of the Time magazine in 2025 featured seven technology leaders who will change the world. “We are entering an era of technology that will change the way we live.” AI will not take away jobs. However, youngsters should have the knowledge and skills to take advantage of AI.

He urged the students to think big and think bold. Students should pursue big ideas, look at solving problems quickly, be in touch with the alma mater and be a life-long learner.
