Over 3,000 tree and branch fall incidents reported across Bengaluru in a month

Over the one month between April 29 and May 29, heavy rains and strong winds across Bengaluru led to 3,015 complaints related to fallen trees and branches, according to data from the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA). Of these, 2,927 complaints were cleared, while 88 remained pending.

The incidents included 949 cases of fallen trees and 2,066 cases of fallen branches. 

GBA teams cleared 923 fallen trees and 2,004 fallen branches during the period. 

The highest number of complaints was reported in West City Corporation, which received 1,249 complaints, followed by the South City Corporation with 700 complaints.
