Schools that are part of The Hindu’s Newspaper in Education (NiE) programme have posted strong performances in the recently announced CBSE class 12 examination results.
National Public School, Rajajinagar: A total of 68 students appeared for the examination, of whom 50 secured distinction. Students also recorded two centums. Shankara Panch emerged as the topper with 96.4%, followed by Vrishank Ravichandran with 96% and Athreya Sharad Deshpande with 95.2%. In the Commerce stream, 19 students appeared for the examination, with 14 securing distinction. Saqeeb Chand emerged as the topper with 92.2%, followed by Shreeyans Sridhara with 92% and Nitin J. with 91.8%.
JSS Public School, HSR Layout: A total of 49 students appeared. Of the total, 12 students secured distinction, while 34 passed with first class. In the Science stream, Abhinav P. Marali and Pratheeksha Pratihari emerged as joint toppers with 94.8% each. Dhruv Agarwal topped the Commerce stream with 86%.
Presidency School, Bengaluru South: In the CBSE class 12 Science stream, a total of 59 students appeared for the examination, of whom 48 secured distinction and 10 passed with first class. The school recorded one centum in Mathematics and two centums in Physics. Johann Job emerged as the topper with 98.4% and also secured a centum in Physics. In the Commerce stream, 25 students appeared for the examination, with 21 securing distinction and three passing with first class. Achyutha Bhaskar emerged as the topper with 96.2%.
Presidency School, Bangalore East: In the CBSE class 12 Science stream, a total of 80 students appeared for the examination, of whom 45 secured distinction and 35 passed with first class. The school recorded three centums each in Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science. Joel Jerry Alappat emerged as the Science stream topper with 98.8%. In the Commerce stream, 35 students appeared for the examination, with 10 securing distinction and 25 passing with first class. Sharanya K. R. emerged as the topper with 95%.
Freedom International School, HSR Layout: A total of 79 students appeared for the CBSE class 12 examination. As many as 70 students secured distinction, while nine passed with first class. Shyamak Deb emerged as the Science stream topper with 96.4%, Dhrithi S. topped the Commerce stream with 91.8%, and Anarghya Tejaswi J. M. emerged as the Humanities topper with 94.4%.
National Public School, Koramangala: A total of 91 students appeared for the CBSE class 12 examination. As many as 79 students secured distinction, while 12 passed with first class. Adwait Amit Ranade and Maheshwar M. emerged as the joint Science stream toppers with 98.6% each, while Aaryan Biyani and Rhea George were the joint Commerce stream toppers with 96.4% each.
National Public School, Indiranagar: In the Science stream, Abhijay Sarmah and Siddhartha Raghavan N. emerged as joint school toppers with 97.8%. They were followed by Vasu Kaushik with 97%, while Aritri Dutta, Saanika Jain and Sruthi Bhathey secured 96.8% each. In the Commerce stream, Arjun Krishnan topped with 98.6%, followed by Aarna Kumar with 96.8% and Radha Upadhye with 95%. In the Humanities stream, Sanjana Menon emerged as the topper with 96.4%, followed by Shrestha Deb with 93.6% and Avanija Singh with 90.4%.
Army Public School, K. Kamaraj Road: A total of 147 students appeared for the examination. In the Science stream, Ayushmann emerged as the topper with 95%, followed by Raymon Kaur Bath with 93.60% and Aanya Beri with 93.20%. In the Commerce stream, Sidharth S. S. topped with 97.40%, followed by Shreya Pillai with 95.20% and Priyanka with 94%. In the Humanities stream, Tabitha Koshy emerged as the topper with 98.40%, followed by Hansika Meena with 97%, while Hazel Elizabeth Khattri and Nysa Karki scored 93.60% each.
