Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday (May 5, 2026) offered prayers at Kali Mandir in C.R. Park a day after the party won West Bengal and returned to power in Assam for the third time.

Mr. Nabin said the women of West Bengal had “rejected fear and chose good governance”. The CM said the “politics of appeasement” had been defeated by the politics of “development and nationalism”.
