R. Sai Kishore will continue to lead the side, with N. Jagadeesan named his deputy.

The selection marks a significant moment for three players, with wicketkeeper-batter M. Vishal, middle-order batter Nidhish S. Rajagopal and medium-pacer G. Govinth in line to make their Ranji Trophy debut.

Meanwhile, B. Sachin, P. Saravana Kumar, Sandeep Warrier, R. Vimal Khumar and C.V. Achyuth have been left out.

The squad: R. Sai Kishore (Capt.), N. Jagadeesan (Vice-capt.), Pradosh Ranjan Paul, C. Andre Siddarth, S. Mohamed Ali, G. Ajitesh, M. Vishal (wk), Nidhish S. Rajagopal, S.R. Athish, P. Vidyuth, J. Hemchudeshan, Gurjapneet Singh, H. Trilok Nag, G. Govinth and R. Sonu Yadav.
