The party was leading in: Mekliganj, Dinhata, Rajganj, Bhagawangola, Gosaba, Shyampukur, Nayagram, Gopiballavpur, Jhargram, Binpur, Howrah Uttar, Shibpur, Goghat, Baghmundi, Bankura, Onda, Monteswar, Kalna, Durgapur Purba, Durgapur Paschim, and Asansol Dakshin. 

Meanwhile, the AITC was leading on: Deganga, Kasba, Entallly, and Singur
