Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (September 22, 2026) launched simultaneous searches at 13 locations linked to Nori Lakshmi Bhaskar, Additional Superintendent of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

Multiple ACB teams searched his residence and office as well as properties linked to his family members. One of the locations searched was Kalpataruvu Apartments in Erragadda.

Officials were examining property records, financial documents and other material as part of the investigation into allegations that Dr. Bhaskar had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Dr. Bhaskar has been working at NIMS for around two decades and has served as its Additional Superintendent for the past five years. The searches were continuing and details of the assets and properties identified during the operation were awaited.

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (July 14, 2026) conducted simultaneous searches at the residence of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) Chief Engineer B. Ravinder and 11 other locations in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

Acting on specific information, the ACB’s City Range-I team carried out raids at 12 locations linked to the officer and his relatives, including the official’s residence at Sumadhura Acropolis in Nanakramguda.

According to the agency, the disproportionate assets case was registered after it gathered material indicating that the Chief Engineer had amassed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Further details are awaited.

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (June 9, 2026) conducted simultaneous searches at nine locations linked to Roads and Buildings (R&B) Engineer-in-Chief J. Mohan Naik after registering a disproportionate assets case against him.

The ACB teams carried out raids at Naik’s residence in Madhapur and eight other premises associated to him and his relatives. Officials are scrutinising documents, financial records and property-related papers recovered during the searches as part of the investigation.

According to sources, Naik is accused of allegedly favouring certain companies while awarding government contracts. The investigators are examining financial transactions and assets linked to the official and his family members to determine whether they are proportionate to his known sources of income. More details are awaited.
