The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) on Friday (May 29, 2026) announced the results of the APPGCET-2026, conducted by Sri Venkateswara University for admissions to postgraduate courses such as M.A., M.Com., M.Sc. and other programmes across the State.

A total of 19,118 candidates registered for the entrance test, of whom 16,406 appeared and 15,020 qualified, an overall pass percentage of 91.55%. The examinations were held from May 8 to May 11, 2026 in 10 sessions across 23 test centres in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can download their rank cards from the official website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/PGCET, and access results through the Andhra Pradesh government WhatsApp Governance number 9552300009.

Congratulating the successful candidates, HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, in a post on X, described the results as a reflection of the hard work and determination of students. He wished all qualified candidates a bright future in higher education and research, and complimented APSCHE and the officials involved for conducting the examinations smoothly.

The preliminary answer keys were released between May 14 to May 16, 2026, and objections were examined by subject experts before the final keys were prepared and the results declared.

Among the disciplines, Education recorded a 99.58% pass rate. Computer Science achieved 98.49% and English 98.68%. Mathematical Sciences and Urdu registered comparatively lower pass percentages.

Women candidates outperformed men overall, recording a pass percentage of 92.44%, against 90.07% among male candidates.

Visakhapatnam had the highest number of candidates appearing for the examination, and Chittoor recorded one of the highest centre-wise pass rates at 95.35%.
