The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has reportedly appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, confirming key details about the upcoming flagship from the Korean tech major. The listing, shared by a leaker on X, confirms the chipset it will pack for the international variant. The listing also confirms the RAM configuration that the S26 Ultra will be equipped with. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to debut alongside the base Galaxy S26 and the S26 Plus at a Galaxy Unpacked event on Feb. 25.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Key Specs Revealed On Geekbench

A Samsung device with the model number SM-S948B has reportedly on Geekbench, as spotted by leaker Tarun Vats. This is expected to be the global variant of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the listing, the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s global variant is confirmed to come powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor — a custom chip for the flagship Galaxy device. The S26 Ultra will also come equipped with 12GB of RAM as standard.

The listing shows the device running Android 16 (likely with Samsung’s One UI on top). It features an eight-core chipset with six performance cores capped at 3.63 GHz and two prime cores at 4.74 GHz. The reported Geekbench scores are 3,601 (single-core) and 10,686 (multi-core).

These figures represent a significant leap over the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which typically scored around 3,100-3,200 (single-core) and 9,700-10,000 (multi-core) on similar tests.

The S26 Ultra’s results are competitive with other Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices like the OnePlus 15 (around 3,600 single-core and about 11,000 multi-core). The final clocked units could score over 3,900 in single-core testing.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is built on a 2nm process, promising improvements in performance, efficiency, AI processing, and gaming compared to previous generations. This should deliver smoother multitasking, faster app launches, better thermal management, and enhanced AI features in the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to launch later in February, and leaks and rumours are in full swing. In an update on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is set to release alongside the standard Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26 Plus, an Android Headlines report reveals what it claims to be confirmed specs and official renders of the device. While the overall design aligns with earlier CAD-based leaks, these “official” images provide a clearer view of the S26 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Official Renders Surface

The renders display the Galaxy S26 Ultra in Cobalt Violet and Black colourways, and the S Pen is prominently featured. The device features rounded corners and a flat frame. The phone sports a flat display with a centred hole-punch camera at the top and slim bezels. The power/lock button and volume controls are positioned on the right.

On the rear, a triple camera setup is vertically aligned in the top-left corner atop a protruding camera island, accompanied by an LED flash nearby. The camera island and lens thickness is expected to cause the phone to wobble on flat surfaces.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Key Specs Confirmed

Several key specifications are now confirmed in the new report. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box. It will include a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic Amoled display.

A 5,000mAh battery will power the device, which supports Wireless Power Share and is driven by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Dimensions reported are 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm, and it weighs 214 gm.

For cameras, the rear setup will comprise a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto, paired with a 12MP front sensor.

Additionally, tipster Ice Universe has revealed that Samsung is adding an improved 24MP photo mode in the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s camera app. It will help take pictures with greater clarity than the standard 12MP mode without the need for major edits.

The tipster also claimed the S26 Ultra will come with three RAM/storage options: 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB.
