Jaipur:

Three men were killed when a truck hit a car while overtaking it on the Delhi-Mumbai Express National Highway in Alwar district of Rajasthan in the early hours on Wednesday, police said.

The truck was at a high speed when the accident happened, they said.

Anish (22), Vikas (25) and Dheeraj (26), residents of Laxmangarh, Sikar, died on the spot. They were travelling in the car and returning to Sikar from Delhi, they said.

The bodies were handed over to their family members after post-mortem.

Jaipur:

Four people were killed and three injured when a car collided with a truck on the Kishangarh-Bhilwara National Highway on Thursday, police said.

The car was returning to Jaipur from Chittorgarh.

Those dead in the incident include Dinesh (35), a resident of Sikar, his wife Sonu (32), his two-and-a-half-year-old son Bhanu and Sandeep’s friend Pradeep (25), Bijainagar SHO Karan Singh said.

The bodies have been kept in the mortuary and the injured are being treated in a hospital, he said
