A rather baffling performance from Morocco. The team looked tame and uninterested in attacking, unlike previous games in this tournament. No sense of urgency in the second half to try and match the French, but France discovered their ruthless side once again with brilliant goals from main men Mbappe and Dembele.

Morocco is out and that’s the last African team to leave the World Cup. 

France moves on to play the winner of Spain and Belgium in the semifinal, a third consecutive one for Les Bleus.
