Lingamaneni Ramesh filed his nomination as the Jana Sena Party (JSP) candidate for election to the Rajya Sabha, at the Legislative Assembly on Saturday (June 6, 2026). He submitted his nomination papers to the Returning Officer R. Vanita Rani. 

Minister Kollu Ravindra, MLC K. Nagababu, MLAs Nakka Ananda Babu, Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu and N. Eswara Rao and other alliance leaders were present.
