The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) on Tuesday (June 16, 2026) announced comprehensive arrangements to facilitate the travel of students appearing for the NEET-UG re-examination scheduled on June 21, 2026.

In a statement, the corporation’s Executive Director (Operations) Gadde Nageswara Rao said that, in line with the directions of the State government, APSRTC would provide free bus travel to all NEET candidates on the examination day. Students can avail themselves of the facility by presenting their NEET hall ticket while travelling to and from their examination centres. The free travel concession will be available on Express, Ultra Pallevelugu, Pallevelugu, Metro Express and City Ordinary bus services operating across the State, he said.

Mr. Rao said that to ensure students reached their examination centres without delay, APSRTC had instructed all its zones, regions and depots to operate sufficient services on routes connecting major residential areas and examination centres. Additional buses would be deployed wherever passenger demand warranted, he said, adding that the corporation would also establish special help desks at key bus stations to assist students with travel-related information and guidance.

Senior officials and supervisory staff would be stationed at major bus terminals and examination centres to oversee operations and arrange extra services whenever required, he said. The field staff had been directed to maintain strict punctuality in bus operations, particularly in rural areas, and ensure that no scheduled services were cancelled on the examination day.

He urged students and their parents to plan their journeys in advance and make use of the free travel facility provided by the corporation, and extended his best wishes to all NEET aspirants.
