In a move to promote technology-enabled education and improve learning outcomes, Dr. YSR Horticultural University on Friday launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered Digital Learning Platform to provide students with advanced educational resources and personalised learning support.

Developed in collaboration with educational technology company The Study Falcon, the platform is designed to help students prepare for competitive examinations, pursue higher education opportunities and enhance career readiness through a range of digital learning tools. The initiative reflects the university’s efforts to integrate emerging technologies into academic programmes and equip students with skills suited to a rapidly evolving educational environment.

The platform was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor K. Dhanunjaya Rao, who underscored the growing role of digital technologies in higher education.

Addressing students and faculty members, he said AI-driven learning systems can enhance academic performance, improve learning efficiency and provide access to quality educational content. He noted that technology has transformed traditional teaching methods and created new opportunities for learning and skill development.

College Dean B. Prasanna Kumar highlighted the increasing importance of digital learning resources and encouraged students to make effective use of online educational platforms to strengthen their professional competencies.

Associate Dean N. B. V. Chalapathi Rao said the university has been promoting innovation in teaching and learning, and expressed confidence that the platform would support students’ academic and career aspirations.

Professor of Agronomy K. Shashikala proposed the vote of thanks. Faculty members, scientists, research scholars and students attended the programme.
