A 14-year-old student was allegedly stabbed to death outside a school in Delhi after a fight with his classmate on Friday. The incident took place outside the Rajkiya Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya No 2 in Shakarpur area.

According to the police, the victim, Ishu Gupta, was engaged in a heated argument with another student, Krishna, during extra classes in the school. After the class ended, Krishna, along with three to four persons allegedly attacked the victim outside the institute.

Officials said that one of the accused stabbed the victim in his thigh.

“Immediately, a team of police, Anti Narcotics Squad, and Special Staff were directed to arrest the accused,” an official release by the police said.

The police have detained seven people in the incident, including the victim’s classmate.

“We are investigating their roles and motives. The victim’s body has been sent for post-mortem,” it said.

Last month a Class 11 student was stabbed to death in a market in Faridabad, days after engaging in an argument with the accused. According to the victim’s sister, she and her brother had gone to the market on December 25 when the accused, Himanshu Mathur and Rohit Dhama, along with a few other men, attacked the victim with sticks and knives. She and some locals rushed the victim, Anshul, to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

The police arrested 10 people in the case.

New Delhi:

A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death in his apartment over an alleged financial dispute in Delhi’s Narela area on Friday. The victim, identified as Himanshu, was living with his friend, Sumit Kaushik, at the time of the incident, officials said.

According to a preliminary investigation, one of the accused, Ravi, had allegedly borrowed Rs 45,000 from the victim’s friend, Sumit. He, however, failed to return the money. Following this, the victim visited Ravi’s house in Safiyabad and threatened his family with “consequences” if he failed to repay his friend.

Hours later, Ravi, along with his three accomplices, reached the victim’s residence around 6 pm and stabbed him. They immediately fled the scene.

“A PCR call regarding the incident was received at 6.28 pm. According to preliminary investigations, Himanshu was attacked and stabbed by four individuals,” a senior police official said.

The victim had been living with Sumit for the past four months, officials said.

Three people have been arrested in the case – Ravi (30), Sahil (24) and Ashish (26). The fourth accused, Akshay Khatri, is reportedly on the run. A case of murder has been registered against them.

“The motive behind the murder appears to be linked to a financial dispute…We are questioning the accused,” the official added.

Earlier this year, two men, who were returning home after finishing work in a factory, were stabbed to death following a dispute with four juveniles in the Narela area. According to the police, four minors, aged 13 and 16, were arrested in the case.

New Delhi:

A man and his teenage friend were allegedly stabbed to death by four minors for rash riding in Delhi’s Bawana area, officials said on Thursday.

The incident took place in G-Block JJ Colony in the national capital, when the victims – aged 20 and 17 – broke into a fight with four minor boys over their way of riding the bike.

According to the police, the victims were riding on the road in a “zig-zag manner”. The four accused stopped them, following which the two groups got into a fight. During the heated argument, two of the four accused attacked the biker and his friend with a knife.

The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital, but they did not survive.

Two of the accused are aged 15 years, while another two are 16 and 13 years of age, officials said. The police have taken them into custody.

A case has been registered against the accused for murder and the police have started action under the Juvenile Justice Act.

New Delhi:

A 22-year-old man died while his brother suffered injuries after they were allegedly stabbed by three bike-borne men in the Harsh Vihar area of northeast Delhi, police said on Monday. The police said they have arrested one accused, identified as Vikas (22), and recovered the motorcycle used in the crime.

The victim has been identified as Ankur, a resident of Pratap Nagar, who was returning from a Dussehra fair with his brother Himanshu on Saturday when the incident took place, they added.

According to an initial probe, on Saboli road, Ankur and Himanshu reportedly advised a biker carrying two pillion passengers to drive safely, a senior police officer said.

On hearing this, the three men alighted and started thrashing Ankur and Himanshu. One of the accused then whipped out a knife and stabbed both the brothers, the officer said.

Himanshu, who suffered knife wounds on his neck and thigh, managed to rush Ankur to a nearby hospital in an e-rickshaw where doctors declared him dead.

“The deceased sustained multiple stab wounds on his chest, stomach, and thigh. We arrested one of the accused and the remaining two are still absconding,” the officer said, adding that Ankur’s body has been handed over to his family members after postmortem.

A purported CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral on social media showing the three men attacking the two brothers in full public view. The footage also shows a man trying to catch hold of one of the attackers even as they fled.

“We demand strict action against the accused,” Ankur’s father Krishan Pal said.

New Delhi:

Two brothers were brutally stabbed over a petty dispute in Delhi resulting in the death of one, said police.

The incident was reported from near Kalindi Colony in south Delhi.

The accused Shahrukh, a resident of the same area, is reported to have stabbed brothers Kamal Kishore and Shivam Sharma, 23 and 18, respectively.

The police upon reaching the spot found the brothers in a pool of blood and shifted them to Apollo Hospital.

Kamal was declared brought dead while Shivam had received stab injuries in his stomach and was operated upon at the hospital. He is now said to be stable.

The accused has been arrested. A case of murder has been registered.
