New Delhi:

BJP’s Rekha Gupta took oath as the new Chief Minister of Delhi along with her six cabinet colleagues today. Ms Gupta, a first-time MLA from Shalimar Bagh, was sworn in at a grand ceremony at the iconic Ramlila Maidan, 11 days after her party returned to power in the national capital after more than 26 years.

Rekha Gupta’s Net Worth

According to Rekha Gupta’s affidavit submitted to the Election Commission (EC) before the 2025 Delhi assembly elections, she declared her total income as Rs 6,92,050 in the financial year 2023-24.

Her moveable assets were worth Rs 1.25 crore, she said in the affidavit filed on January 15. She also had immovable assets worth Rs 2.3 crore.

The 50-year-old politician has loans worth Rs 48.44 lakh.

Her affidavit showed that she owns two residential properties, one of which is co-owned with her husband, Manish Gupta.

She does not own any vehicle and has jewellery worth Rs 18 lakh.

Mr Gupta’s income in the financial year 2023-2024 was Rs 97,33,570. His movable assets are worth Rs 1.14 crore and immovable assets are worth Rs 30 lakh.

Rekha Gupta: Delhi’s Fourth Woman Chief Minister

Rekha Gupta, a former president of the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU), has become the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi after BJP’s Sushma Swaraj, Congress’ Sheila Dikshit, and Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi.

She defeated AAP candidate Bandana Kumari by over 29,000 votes from the Shalimar Bagh seat in the February 5 Assembly polls. Notably, Ms Gupta contested the Shalimar Bagh seat in both the 2015 and 2020 Delhi elections but was defeated by AAP’s Bandana Kumari in both years.

Born on July 19, 1974, in Nandgarh village of Jind district in Haryana, Ms Gupta’s father served as a bank officer. In 1976, her family moved to neighbouring Delhi.

As a student at Delhi University, she joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Her active involvement in student politics led to her election as the President of Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) for the 1996-1997 term. She also served as the Secretary of Dyal Singh College and was deeply engaged in student activism, which propelled her further into public life.

Her political career with the BJP began in the early 2000s. She joined the party’s youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), and held the role of secretary in the Delhi unit.

She was then appointed the National Secretary of BJYM from 2004 to 2006.

In 2007, she was elected as a councillor in the MCD elections, representing the North Pitampura constituency.

She went on to serve as the President of the Women’s Welfare and Child Development Committee in MCD from 2007 to 2009.

New Delhi:

Setting its sights on returning to power in Delhi after a gap of 26 years, the BJP has launched a full-scale effort and implemented a special micromanagement strategy.

The party’s goals are clear: Increase votes by 20,000 per Assembly seat compared to the last election, secure more votes at each booth and achieve 50% of votes polled at each booth.

To achieve this, the BJP has devised a booth-by-booth, voter list-by-voter list strategy and has also rolled out its vote catchers. Not only have Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda hit the campaign trail, but dozens of central ministers, national party officials, chief ministers, deputy chief ministers and ministers from neighbouring states, as well as MPs and MLAs, have also been deployed in Delhi.

Every Booth Counts

For several months, the BJP has been scrutinising voter lists. Data for voters at each booth has been prepared, new voters have been added and fake voters have been removed. Lists of voters who no longer reside in the booth area but are still on the voter rolls have been compiled. Many voters left Delhi during COVID-19 and haven’t returned, while others moved away for jobs or other reasons but remain on the voter list. The party has contacted all these voters, encouraging them to return to Delhi to cast their ballots on February 5.

Additionally, the social profiles of voters at each booth have been examined. For example, it was determined whether a voter is originally from Delhi or moved to the Capital from another state. If they moved from another state, local BJP leaders from their home state were asked to establish personal contact with the voters to leverage local connections and persuade them to vote for the party.

The BJP has also focused on Purvanchalis from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, and Pahadis from Uttarakhand. BJP leaders from Purvanchal have been tasked with campaigning among Purvanchali voters, coordinated by former MP Harish Dwivedi. The BJP aims to win the hearts of Purvanchalis and counter the AAP’s claim that the BJP did not give many tickets to people from the community.

Delhi is known as Mini India – with millions of people from South Indian states, as well as Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, and others – and the BJP is keen on capitalising on that as well. For instance, there are about 3 lakh Telugu-speaking voters in the capital and BJP and TDP leaders from Andhra Pradesh have been tasked with contacting them. Similarly, BJP leaders from Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Gujarat have been called to Delhi to win over voters from their respective states.

Government Buildings

The BJP has also combed through lists of people living in government buildings, contacting not only the government employees residing there but also those working in their homes. They checked whether their names were on the voter list and added them if they were not. This campaign was particularly focused on areas like New Delhi, Sarojini Nagar, RK Puram, and Netaji Nagar. As a result, the names of gardeners, cooks, domestic helpers, and others working in ministers’ and MPs’ bungalows in the Lutyens’ zone have also been added to the voter list.

Two Assembly Seats Each

Union ministers, national party officials, and leaders from neighbouring states have been given specific responsibilities. Each Union minister is assigned two Assembly constituencies to oversee every aspect of campaigning and organisation. This core group meets daily and shares reports with the central leadership. They have the authority to resolve any issues and make decisions promptly.

Central Minister Piyush Goyal is responsible for Delhi Cantt and Wazirpur, Dharmendra Pradhan for Malviya Nagar and Greater Kailash, Bhupender Yadav for Mehrauli and Bijwasan, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for Narela and Bawana, Mansukh Mandaviya for Shakur Basti and Madipur, Anurag Thakur for Mustafabad and Karawal Nagar, UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak for Adarsh Nagar and Burari, National General Secretary Vinod Tawde for Janakpuri and Uttam Nagar, and Sunil Bansal for Shalimar Bagh and Tri Nagar.

Clusters

The BJP has created clusters for different areas of Delhi and assigned leaders to each. These include clusters for slums, unauthorised colonies, and street vendors. Leaders have been instructed to monitor voter lists and contact everyone. RSS leaders are also collaborating with BJP leaders in this effort.

The middle class is a victim of tax terrorism and has been reduced to the government’s ATM, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal said today. Mr Kejriwal, whose outreach to middle class comes two weeks ahead of the February 5 election in Delhi, also listed seven Budget demands from the Centre that AAP MPs will raise in Parliament for the interests of the middle class.

“Some poll promises are made for the underprivileged classes, and some for a few industrialists. On the grounds of caste and religion, other parties have created a vote bank. And they need donations from industrialists, so they are the note bank. Between this vote bank and note bank, a large section is sandwiched. This is India’s middle class,” he said in a video message.

Mr Kejriwal said successive governments after Independence have crushed and squeezed the middle class. “The relationship between the government and the middle class is strange. They don’t do anything for the middle class. But whenever the government needs to, they target the middle class through tax. Middle class pays huge taxes, but gets nothing in return. India’s middle class has been reduced to the government’s ATM. It is a victim of tax terrorism,” he said.

The middle class, he said, does not have very big demands. “They want a good job or business, a house of their own, quality education for their children. They just want health and safety for their family. He only hopes for a little help from the government. But the government is making neither schools nor hospitals, it is not creating jobs and not ensuring safety either,” he said.

Mr Kejriwal said that if all taxes are added up, a middle class person gives more than 50 per cent of his income to the government. “How can he/she dare to fulfill their dreams amid this tax terrorism? The truth is that for a young middle class couple, family planning has now become a financial decision. Before having a child, they ask themselves if they can afford the upbringing. Where have we reached,” he said, adding that people were leaving the country due to high taxes.

Mr Kejriwal said the AAP government in Delhi spends the people’s money for their welfare. He underlined that Delhi government hiked the education budget, transformed state-run schools and also barred private schools from increasing fees. “We lowered power and water bills to shield you from inflation. Delhi residents get the cheapest power among all major cities,” he said. The AAP leader also showcased Delhi government’s work in the healthcare sector and said the highest demand for mohalla clinics are in middle-class residential areas.

New Delhi:

Congress leader Ajay Maken said on Saturday that his party should have no alliance with the AAP in Delhi, but left the option open, saying this is his personal view.

Asked whether the Congress will lend support to the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, if need be, after the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls, Mr Maken said, “It is my personal view that there should be no alliance with AAP.” “I also feel that there should not have been any support (from the Congress) to the AAP in 2013 and neither any alliance for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. But this is my personal view,” the All India Congress Committee (AICC) treasurer said, without speaking any further.

Addressing the first press conference at the new Congress headquarters at Kotla Road, Mr Maken said he stands by his earlier remark that Mr Kejriwal is “anti-national” and the AAP’s strengthening in the capital will only help the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Asked about his “anti-national” remark against Mr Kejriwal, Mr Maken said, “I had given my personal view and I still stand by it.” He said the people of Delhi suffered due to the Congress’s support to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in 2013 and its alignment with the Kejriwal-led outfit in 2024.

“When the people of Delhi suffered, the BJP benefitted. But this is my personal view,” Mr Maken said.

On whether the Congress would still go with the AAP, he said, “I feel that Kejriwal getting prominence in Delhi helps the BJP. To fight the BJP, it is important to have a strong Congress at the national level.” Mr Maken said if a national party like the Congress is not strong at the national level, it is difficult to fight against the BJP.

“By weakening the Congress, one cannot fight the BJP,” he said.

Noting that Delhi is not an insignificant state politically, Mr Maken said it is known that whichever party wins the Lok Sabha seats in the capital goes on to form its government at the Centre.

“The AAP has failed to fight against the BJP in Delhi,” he claimed.

Mr Maken said both in Haryana and Delhi, the Congress wanted to have an alliance with the AAP, but soon after his release from jail, Mr Kejriwal himself announced that his party will contest all 90 Assembly seats in Haryana, whereas “we were in an advanced stage of discussion for an alliance”.

“As far as Delhi is concerned, Mr Kejriwal himself announced soon after the Lok Sabha polls that they will fight the Delhi election on their own, he added.

Mr Maken said when the Congress had its government in Delhi, led by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, it won all the seven Lok Sabha seats in the capital and stopped the BJP here. “By stopping them in Delhi, we stopped them from assuming power at the Centre as whosoever wins Lok Sabha seats in Delhi goes on to form the national-level government,” he noted.

“But ever since the AAP has come to power in Delhi, the opposite is happening and the BJP has been forming the government at the Centre as it has won all the seven Lok Sabha seats. Then who is with the BJP?” the Congress leader asked.

New Delhi:

The BJP’s manifesto for the upcoming Delhi elections met with sheer criticism from the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), with Arvind Kejriwal wondering why people should choose the BJP if it continues with the AAP’s welfare schemes. The BJP hit back at Mr Kejriwal saying he does not understand the difference between ‘revdi‘ (freebies) and development.

BJP chief and Union Minister JP Nadda today released the party’s first of the three-part ‘Sankalp Patra’, which he said has women’s welfare as its central theme. The party, which aims to dethrone AAP in Delhi after a decade, has promised financial assistance to women, young mothers, and senior citizens, besides subsidies on cylinders and more.

Taking a dig at the BJP’s manifesto, Mr Kejriwal sought to know if the promises had a go-ahead from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had on several instances targeted the AAP over freebies and called for ending the “revdi culture”.

“Was permission taken from PM Modi before announcing free revdi? Our demand is that PM Modi should come forward and say that free revdi is not a loss for the country but God’s prasad, and that he was wrong and Kejriwal is right,” said Mr Kejriwal.

Referring to Mr Nadda’s remark that the BJP will carry forward the existing welfare schemes if it comes to power, Mr Kejriwal asked why the people should vote for them.

“BJP has openly accepted that Kejriwal is running many welfare schemes in Delhi which are benefiting the families of BJP members also. We don’t know how to do politics, we know how to work. And we do such work that even our opponents praise it,” he said in an online post.

“BJP does not have a “Sankalp Patra” but a “Kejriwal Patra” that they will continue all the schemes of Kejriwal in Delhi. BJP says – “Vote for BJP to do all the work that Kejriwal does.” All the work done by Kejriwal will be done better by Kejriwal himself, then why should anyone vote for BJP?” he added in another post.

He also referred to “gang wars” in Delhi and said that the BJP did not care to add even a single line to the manifesto on improving the law-and-order situation.

Accusing the BJP of having no vision for Delhi, he said the party never fulfils its promises. “Tell us what work the BJP has done in the last 10 years? Their ‘Sankalp Patra’ is false,” asserted the AAP supremo.

Hitting back, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said that the AAP chief does not understand the difference between handing out freebies and empowerment. “Arvind babu, when you make promises, it seems you are handing out promises. When we talk about it, we talk about all-round development and empowerment. But you won’t understand it,” he said.

Releasing the manifesto, Mr Nadda had accused the AAP of corruption and said it neither fulfilled its promises in Delhi, nor in Punjab. He also called the AAP government’s flagship Mohalla Clinics “den of corruption”, vowing to probe the matter if his party comes to power.

New Delhi:

Once the election season heats up enough, even a retweet can spark a political firestorm.

This is exactly what happened on Wednesday when Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh tore into the District Election Officer of New Delhi for resharing a post by BJP Delhi’s official handle on X (formerly Twitter) about a meeting between some of the party’s leaders and Election Commission officials.

Sharing a screenshot of the retweet, Mr Singh, in a post dripping with sarcasm, accused the District Election Officer (DEO) of bias and said the officer would formally join the BJP and campaign for the party. The DEO clarified that the social media handle is managed by an officer from the social media cell, who had reposted the tweet “inadvertently” and has been replaced.

In his post on X, Mr Singh wrote in Hindi, “A first in the history of India – the Election Officer of New Delhi has started retweeting BJP’s tweets secretly. Now the District Election Officer of New Delhi Legislative Assembly is saying “When you love, what is there to fear?” (‘jab pyaar kiya to darna kya‘).”

“The District Election Officer has now decided to join the BJP and campaign openly. Tomorrow at 11 am, the District Election Officer will formally join the BJP at the BJP office,” he sneered.

Leaders from the AAP and the BJP have been meeting officials from the Election Commission frequently – often to complain against the other party – ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, which are scheduled to be held on February 5. The post by BJP Delhi retweeted by the DEO’s handle was about the party’s Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva, MP Bansuri Swaraj and others meeting Election Commission officials on Tuesday.

‘Officer Replaced’

Replying to the AAP Rajya Sabha MP’s post, the DEO clarified that the repost was immediately undone as soon as it was brought to light and that the social media cell has been directed to exercise caution.

“The DEO’s official social media handle is managed by the Nodal Officer, Social Media Cell, who is responsible for posting replies and addressing tweets, particularly to counter misinformation and ensure accurate communication with the public. It has come to light that this particular tweet was inadvertently reposted while replying to the said tweet as part of routine engagement with social media content. The repost was immediately undone as soon as it was brought to the notice of the DEO,” the DEO’s handle posted.

The poll officer said the nodal officer of the social media cell has been replaced to ensure accountability and ensure the incident is not repeated.

“Additionally, the Social Media Cell has been directed to exercise greater caution in future engagements to maintain the integrity and impartiality of the DEO’s social media communications. This clarification is issued to reaffirm the DEO’s commitment to impartiality and adherence to the guidelines laid down by the Election Commission of India,” the post said.

Earlier Row

Mr Singh’s dig at the District Election Officer came hours after the Aam Aadmi Party had accused the Election Commission of remaining mum while the BJP’s Parvesh Verma, who is contesting against AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi Assembly constituency, distributed shoes to voters.

The returning officer of the constituency had then filed a complaint with the police and a case was registered against Mr Verma for violating the Model Code of Conduct.

New Delhi:

Delhi BJP MLA Mohan Singh Bisht has slammed the party’s decision to field colleague Kapil Mishra from his seat for the upcoming polls, saying they have made a “big mistake”. The BJP named Mr Mishra as its candidate from Karawal Nagar yesterday, replacing Mr Bisht who had won the 2020 elections against the AAP’s Durgesh Pathak. Mr Bisht, who has won all except one assembly election from here since 1998, has asserted he won’t move to another seat and will file his nomination from Karawal Nagar.

“The BJP thinks they will field anyone and he will win. This is a big mistake. Only time will tell what will happen in Burari, Karawal Nagar, Ghonda, Seelampur, Gokalpuri, and Nand Nagri seats. I will not contest from any other seat. I will file my nomination from Karawal Nagar seat before January 17,” the veteran politician told news agency ANI.

Mr Mishra, however, has predicted a big victory and said, “The people of Karawal Nagar are excited and we will register a big win here. There is a wave of transformation in Delhi. BJP is going to form the government here.”

In the 2015 elections, Mr Mishra had contested from the Karawal Nagar seat on an AAP ticket and defeated Mr Bisht. He went on to join the AAP cabinet, but it was short-lived. He was dropped as a minister and suspended from the party in 2017 after he accused senior AAP leaders of corruption.

Mr Mishra joined the BJP in 2019 ahead of the elections and shot to the headlines after referring to anti-citizenship law protest sites as “mini Pakistans”. He had even issued an ultimatum to the Delhi Police to clear the protest sites in Jaffrabad and Chandbagh or face consequences.

The BJP is vying to dethrone the AAP from power in the national capital where the assembly elections will be held on February 5. The votes will be counted on February 8.

New Delhi:

With less than a month to go for the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP has released its second list of 29 candidates. The list includes Delhi BJP Vice President Kapil Mishra – a former MLA who was earlier with the AAP – who has been fielded from the Karawal Nagar constituency, and former Delhi chief minister Madan Lal Khurana’s son Harsh Khurana.

BJP leader Karnail Singh will contest against AAP’s former minister Satyendar Jain from Shakur Basti. Parvesh Verma, who is the son of former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma, had been named in the party’s first list.

Only one sitting MLA – Mohan Singh Bisht – has been dropped from Karawal Nagar, probably to accommodate Mr Mishra, who represented the constituency earlier, when he was with the AAP. Mr Mishra joined the BJP in 2019 and made headlines a year later after referring to sites where protests were taking place against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) as “mini-Pakistans”. He had also issued an ultimatum to the Delhi Police to clear anti-CAA protesters from Jaffrabad and Chandbagh or face the consequences.

Neelam Krishan Pahalwan, who was elected as the BJP councillor from the Dichaon Kalan ward with the highest number of votes, will contest from Najafgarh, which was the constituency of former Delhi minister and recent BJP entrant Kailash Gahlot. The former AAP leader featured in the first list and will be contesting from Bijwasan.

The BJP has named five women in the second list, taking its number of women candidates to seven so far.

With Saturday’s list, the party has now named candidates for 58 of Delhi’s 70 seats. The first list included the names of Parvesh Verma, former MP Ramesh Bidhuri and former Congress leader and minister Arvinder Singh Lovely.

New Delhi:

Stepping up the attack on the BJP ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal said the party is not announcing its chief ministerial candidate because it is afraid of suffering defeat. The AAP leader also claimed that the BJP has finalised the name of its former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri – who was denied a ticket for the Lok Sabha polls but is contesting against Chief Minister Atishi from the Kalkaji constituency in the Assembly polls – as the chief ministerial candidate.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah hit back, accusing the AAP chief of spreading canards and trying to manipulate public perception. “Can Mr Kejriwal decide the BJP’s chief ministerial face? Who is he to make such claims,” the minister asked.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Mr Kejriwal said in Hindi, “The AAP has been clear from the beginning that I will be the chief ministerial candidate. The BJP’s Central Election Committee met yesterday and sources tell us the party has probably decided to name Ramesh Bidhuri as the chief ministerial candidate. Sources said his name will be declared in a day or two. I congratulate Mr Bidhuri and, on behalf of the people of Delhi, urge him to tell us about the work he has done as an MP for ten years. He should also lay out his vision for Delhi and the people of Delhi.”

The former Delhi chief minister also challenged the BJP to a public debate.

“This will make the vision of the respective people and parties clear to the people of Delhi and India. We will wait, maybe the announcement of Mr Bidhuri’s name will happen in a day or two,” he said.

Mr Bidhuri had made headlines in September 2023, when he used Islamophobic slurs against Amroha MP Danish Ali, sparking a huge controversy. After his candidature for the Delhi Assembly elections was declared earlier this month, his remarks on Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi’s cheeks and Atishi’s surname change had stirred up a row. The comments earned him a rap from the BJP and he apologised for some of them.

‘Lies, Betrayal’

Lashing out at Mr Kejriwal, Home Minister Amit Shah said he was trying to extract political mileage by making such claims.

“Can Kejriwal decide the BJP’s chief ministerial face? Who is he to make such claims?” said Mr Shah while addressing a ‘Jhuggi Basti Pradhan Sammelan’. He added that “lies, betrayal and going back on promises” are the AAP chief’s qualities.

BJP leader RP Singh reminded Mr Kejriwal of the court’s conditions while granting him bail in the Delhi liquor policy case and also spoke about the alleged extravagances at the Delhi chief minister’s bungalow, which the opposition party has derisively termed ‘Sheeshmahal’.

“Mr Kejriwal keeps talking about the chief ministerial face. That he is the chief ministerial face and who is against him. The court has said you (Mr Kejriwal) can’t be the chief minister. According to the court order, you could not sign any file as the chief minister, couldn’t go to the chief minister’s office and nor could you call a meeting as chief minister. The order is still in force, you have not got any relief,” Mr Singh said.

“And what face are you talking about? The face that gave a bottle of alcohol free on purchasing one, the face that allowed the opening of liquor shops outside schools and religious places, or the face that got commodes of gold installed (in the chief minister’s bungalow). Our face is the lotus symbol. Our workers are going to every house with the symbol and promising a clean and honest government,” he sneered.

Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva said the BJP’s elected MLAs would decide the party’s leader.

New Delhi:

The BJP today escalated its attack on AAP following findings from a leaked Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report regarding the city’s controversial excise policy. Questioning the authenticity of the report, AAP leader Sanjay Singh asked whether the alleged findings were made at the BJP office.

The report, which allegedly outlines major lapses and violations under the leadership of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, has triggered a fresh row ahead of the February 5 Delhi Assembly elections.

The CAG report has not been officially released.

The purported CAG report, parts of which have reached the public domain, alleges that the Delhi government’s Excise Policy caused a loss of over Rs 2,026 crore to the state including Rs 890 crore due to the failure to re-tender surrendered retail liquor licenses. An additional loss of Rs 941 crore allegedly stemmed from exemptions granted to zonal licensees.

Key approvals from the Lieutenant Governor (LG), the Cabinet, and the Assembly were allegedly bypassed. The report further claims that the Group of Ministers (GoM) led by Manish Sisodia ignored recommendations from an expert panel.

The BJP has seized on the alleged findings, accusing the AAP government of gross corruption and mismanagement.

“If their (AAP) policies were so good then why were they taken aback? Today AAP has no answer to Delhi’s broken roads, dirty water in homes, rising electricity bills, mountains of garbage and pollution. Today the people of Delhi want to be free from ‘AAP-da’,” BJP leader Anurag Thakur said.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh questioned the authenticity of the purported report.

“Where is the CAG report? Do you have a copy? Is it made at the BJP office? The BJP is scared. They have become mentally unstable. We cannot respond to everything. On one hand, they are saying the CAG report has not been tabled, but on the other, they say it has been released. What do they mean?” Mr Singh asked.

The Congress has also joined the attack. Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav criticised the delay in tabling the CAG report in the Assembly, alleging that this indicated a deal between the BJP and AAP to suppress the report. Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit called the policy a “clear scam” and accused the Kejriwal government of draining government funds.
