The Group A match between Czechia vs South Africa is under way at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday (June 18, 2026).

South Africa manager Hugo Broos has ditched his ‌experiment with a five-man defence, used in their ⁠opening loss to Mexico, while ‌the Czechs make ‌five ⁠changes from the side ⁠which started in their defeat to South Korea.

The FIFA World Cup began on June 10 and ends with the final on July 20.
