The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved investments worth ₹11 lakh crore, Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said on Thursday (May 7, 2026).

Speaking at the seventh Collectors’ conference, which began at Amaravati on Thursday, Mr. Satya Prasad said the government had accelerated the issuance of adangals and passbooks, and removed 1.37 lakh acres from the prohibited 22A land list. He said the government was making the Registration department more citizen-friendly, and was integrating revenue and registration services on a single platform through digitalisation. The re-survey would be completed within the stipulated timeframe to make Andhra Pradesh free of land disputes, he said.

Referring to the Singapore study tour, Mr. Satya Prasad said the delegation had learnt lessons in precision-based administration, integrated governance and teamwork-oriented public administration.

Chief Secretary Sai Prasad said the Collectors’ conference was helping the administration re-focus on targets set by the government. He said the State government was prioritising “speed of doing business” and “speed of governance delivery”. “The Swarna Andhra 2047 Vision can be realised through the ten principles laid down by the Chief Minister,” he said, adding that attracting investments would pave the way for the State’s development.

He said employment and livelihood opportunities had to be generated for local youth, and welfare programmes in the education and healthcare sectors had to be implemented effectively.

The first day of the conference will focus on Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) growth, district-wise economic projections, governance reforms, investment grounding and the Swarna Andhra Vision 2047 roadmap.

Earlier, at the begining of the conference, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was accorded a standing ovation by all the officers for being bestowed with the Business Reformer of the year’ award by a prominent media house.
