His Formula One team said the 21-year-old was shocked by the incident but was not injured. A statement read: “The McLaren team can confirm that Lando Norris was involved in an incident. After the Euro 2020 final at Wembley, his watch was taken from him.”
“Thank you. Lando was not injured, but he was understandably surprised. The team supports Lando and we believe that racing fans will join us in wishing him all the best in the British Grand Prix this weekend.
“Since it is a police matter, we cannot comment further.”
