Rishabh Pant’s Reaction To “When People Start Doubting Him” Post Wins Internet

Posted on April 25, 2024 By admin

Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant showed his true mettle during his side’s victory against Gujarat Titans in their IPL 2024 match. Pant brilliantly dominated the GT bowlers and played an unbeaten knock of 88 off 43 balls and guided his side to a total of 224/4. Later, GT gave a tough fight with Sai Sudharsan and David Miller smashing half-centuries but that wasn’t enough as DC restricted them to 220/8 and won the match by four runs. This was DC’s fourth win of IPL 2024.

After the victory, Pant became the talk of the town as the social media got flooded with many wishes and some hilarious memes about him.

A video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), showing a funny imitation of Pant brilliant knock against GT. As soon as the video went viral, the DC skipper reacted and wrote, “Quite funny, looks good.”

Talking about the match, sent in to bat, Pant led from the front, remaining unbeaten on 88 off 43 balls (5X4s, 8X6s), his innings proving to be a timely reminder to the national selectors, who are likely to pick him in India’s first XI against Pakistan in the World T20 match in New York, barring fitness issues.

Pant’s maturity showed as he paced his innings brilliantly in company of Axar, who made 66 off 43 balls after being promoted to the third spot. His innings was studded with five fours and four sixes.

In reply, Sai Sudarshan (65 off 29 ) and David Miller (55 off 23) scored fifties, while Rashid Khan hit a 11-ball 21 not out but still couldn’t take GT over the line, finishing at 220 for 8 in their 20 overs.

“Everyday that I’m in the middle, I feel better. Every hour on the field matters, I love being on the field. I try to give it my 100% and it takes some time sometimes. I think the first six in the match gives me the confidence in a game. The more time I spend in the centre, the better I feel,” said Pant after the victory.

DC will now be squaring off against Mumbai Indians for their next IPL 2024 match on Saturday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
