Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Tuesday that the overall development of the tribal area is a priority for his government. He said that this is the reason why the government is making plans to promote the development of these areas, he told people in Potliya village, Banswara district.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for vaccination to prevent the possible third wave of COVID19. He added that there is a need to raise awareness about vaccination in tribal areas.
Ashok Gehlot unveiled the former Pradan of Kushalgarh Panchayat Samiti from the late Hurting Khadiya in the village. He said that under the “Jal Jeevan Mission” in the tribal area, the job of providing water to each family will become the main job.
The Chief Minister said that the overall development of the area is being carried out in a planned manner through the Tribal Regional Development Department. He said the state government has formulated a plan to develop Beneshwar Dham, a famous pilgrimage site, and work on the project will begin soon, costing an estimated 13.2 billion rupees.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the need for vaccination to prevent the possible third wave of COVID19. He added that there is a need to raise awareness about vaccination in tribal areas.
