Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab), Sep 3: Two people riding a motorcycle, hit a bus and died in a road accident on Friday evening. About 30 passengers in the bus escaped out of the vehicle which blazed after the collision.
The mishap occurred near village Gunia Majra on Sirhind-Patiala road. The two motorcyclists belonged to a village near Mandi Gobindgarh. The bus was on its way from Moga to Patiala.
The motorcycle was coming from the opposite side near Gunia Majra village when they collided with the bus. They got stuck under the bus and were dragged for some distance. The accident damaged the fuel tank of the bus which began leaking. As the bus dragged the motorcycle, sparks ignited the fuel causing an ablaze.
The bus got seized, but its driver managed to escape.
