Mamata uses Pegasus on TMC leaders: Dilip Ghosh

Posted on July 21, 2021September 13, 2021 By Subrata Paul

Kolkata: Soon after Mamata Banerjee smashed the center on the Pegasus spy line, the BJP head of state Dilip Ghosh responded that it was West Bengal’s own chief minister who was monitoring the political leaders.

Mamata and her government uses Pegasus spyware and did not even forgive the leaders of their own party.

“TMC leaders do not communicate except by messages on WhatsApp, because they know that Mamata Banerjee himself will tap their phones. She and her government use Pegasus software,” ANI quoted Ghosh as saying.

“Phone Tapping is not our job, but the job of Congress, from Mamata’s place,” he added.

The opposition leader in Suvendu Adhikari state also attacked Banerjee, accusing her of tapping his phone and the phones of other BJP workers.

“Mamata Banerjee’s management is listening to my phone. Except for FaceTime and WhatsApp, there is no opportunity to speak. Your government is listening to the phones of all the small BJP workers,” Adhikari said.

Earlier today, Banerjee claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party wanted to make India a surveillance country, not a democracy. At the same time, she launched a fierce attack on the government over fuel prices.
Money raised by the center through taxes on fuel used for espionage. The BJP wants to make India a surveillance country, not a democracy,” she said.

“Our phone was tapped. Pegasus is dangerous and fierce. I can’t talk to anyone. You paid too much money for spies. I have posted it on my phone. We must also plaster the center, otherwise the country will be destroyed. The BJP has destroyed the federal structure,” she added.
